Dr. Eric Tobler (DMD)

Dr. Eric Tobler, DMD, MBA, is a highly respected clinician and dental leader whose career reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence, a collaborative spirit, and a deep dedication to advancing patient care. Grounded in evidence-based dentistry and strengthened by two decades of hands-on clinical experience, he is known for delivering thoughtful, comprehensive care while cultivating strong, trust-based relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

After completing his undergraduate studies at Utah State University, Dr. Tobler earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, followed by an MBA from Washington State University. His professional journey has been defined by a balanced integration of clinical expertise, continuous learning, and leadership within group practice environments. He is widely recognized for navigating complex clinical decisions with clarity and precision, consistently prioritizing patient well-being and long-term oral health outcomes. His interest in modern dental technologies and best-practice systems has made him a valued contributor to practice improvement initiatives and organizational strategy.

After completing an LDS mission in Indiana, he began practicing dentistry at Stonehaven Dental in 2007, where his clinical focus has always centered on comprehensive, individualized care and exceptional patient experiences. Since then, Dr. Tobler has held several prominent leadership roles, including National Director of Clinical Affairs for Mortenson Dental Partners and Regional President of Stonehaven Dental. He has served on the Mortenson Dental Partners Board of Directors and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Group Dental Practices (AAGDP). In 2024, he joined Dental Care Alliance as Chief Clinical Officer.

Known for his calm, steady presence and collaborative mindset, Dr. Tobler brings a solutions-oriented perspective to team dynamics and governance work. He is committed to elevating standards of care, supporting professional development, and fostering a culture where clinicians can thrive and patients receive exceptional service.

Beyond the operatory, Dr. Tobler remains active in continuing education and professional dental organizations. He is certified in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support, and he holds a master’s certification (MaCSD) from the College of Sedation Dentistry, ADSA. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association, Academy of LDS Dentists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and AAGDP.

With a strong commitment to humanitarian service, Dr. Tobler has volunteered on dental and medical missions in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. Dentistry is woven deeply into his personal life as well—his parents, siblings, wife, daughter, nieces, and nephews all share a passion for the profession. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys skiing and mixed martial arts. He and his wife, Ashley, love making their home in Utah.
