Dr. Mark Sivers, DMD, has co-founded and grown two national dental groups and stands as a distinguished leader in group practice dentistry, widely recognized for his strategic vision, clinical mastery, and unwavering dedication to advancing the profession. Over a career that bridges hands-on patient care and high-level organizational leadership, he has earned a reputation for bringing clarity, collaboration, and implementing forward-thinking solutions to the complex challenges facing modern group dental practices.
A graduate of Brigham Young University, Dr. Sivers went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree Summa Cum Laude at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He later joined the Tufts faculty as an Associate Professor and served as team dentist for the Boston Red Sox—roles that reflect both his clinical expertise and his commitment to elevating standards of care.
In 2008, Dr. Sivers collaborated with colleagues at Harvard Business School to explore more efficient, outcomes-driven models of dental practice—work that emphasized reducing complications, improving patient satisfaction, and strengthening operational excellence.
A decade later, in 2018, he co-founded his first national dental group dedicated to enhancing patient experiences and delivering consistently high-quality care. His leadership continues to be sought after: in 2019, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dental Group Practice (AADGP), and he currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business Wheatley Institution as well as University of Oxford Progress Through Business, Inc. In 2025 he cofounded his second national dental group.
Dr. Sivers’ professional contributions extend across a wide range of innovative initiatives. He beta-tested digital impression technologies with MIT and Brontes Labs, integrated intra-oral photography, digital scanning, and 3-D imaging into routine clinical workflows as well as Integrated AI into these clinical workflows leading to improved outcomes for patients, dentists, and dental teams. He has also championed philanthropic dental efforts, including Dentistry From The Heart, expanding access to care for underserved communities.
Grounded in evidence-based dentistry, patient-centered care, and lifelong learning, Dr. Sivers has developed deep expertise in comprehensive general dentistry, practice operations, and multi-location group practice management. His ability to unite clinical insight with business acumen has made him a trusted voice among peers and a valued contributor to strategic initiatives shaping the future of group practice.
Known for his thoughtful and measured leadership style—one that is inclusive, principled, and attuned to the needs of both practitioners and patients—Dr. Sivers has played pivotal roles in guiding organizational priorities, strengthening governance, and supporting the long-term sustainability of dental groups. His work reflects a steadfast commitment to elevating standards, fostering innovation, and ensuring that dental teams have the resources and support necessary to thrive.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Sivers and his wife—his closest friend and partner—have made their home in New England for the past 26 years, where they have raised their three children. He has performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Tanglewood Festival Chorus, enjoys landscaping and home renovation, is notably adept with a chainsaw, and maintains an active lifestyle through swimming, cycling, and walking. He is also joyfully anticipating the arrival of his first two grandchildren.
Dr. Sivers remains deeply engaged in dental associations and continuing education. He is committed to mentoring emerging leaders, promoting ethical practice, and contributing meaningfully to the conversations that will shape dentistry for generations to come.
