Accreditation

The American Academy of Dental Group Practice is a member of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The AADGP is represented on the AAAHC Board of Directors.

Founded in 1979, the AAAHC has worked to maintain and enhance quality in ambulatory surgery, and among group practices and clinics, student health centers, HMOs, dental groups and oral surgeons, occupational health providers, community health centers, radiation oncology centers, and other ambulatory health care.

Achieving practice accreditation is voluntary.

AAAHC offers several educational seminars focusing on managing for quality in today's health care environment and how to achieve AAAHC accreditation. These seminars are held throughout the year and in various locations across the United States.
